South of the Border
For his next vacation, Jeremy chose to stay at the architectural jewel of Mexico’s hotel industry: the Westin’s Club Regina Los Cabos. Set in an area noted for its amazing contrasts, this luxurious Gold Crown resort is nearby beaches, desert, and the beautiful ocean. Known for its outstanding service, six pools, a deli, two tennis courts, a gym, restaurants, and extraordinary views, Club Regina Los Cabos is blessed with the area’s natural attractions, including spectacular sunrises and sunsets, world-class golf courses, and great fishing. Jeremy was excited to learn it is also a great spot for viewing humpback whales.

Ski Utah!
Growing up in the South, Jeremy rarely saw snow, and never had the opportunity to try skiing. Moving to the Northwest put him within hours of first-class skiing adventures, including those at the Wasatch Mountain Range just 26 miles outside of Salt Lake City. Here he stayed at the Gold Crown ski resort The Cliff Club at Snowbird, with downhill skiing and snowboarding right outside his door. It also features four restaurants, three lounges, and a 27,000-square-foot spa that includes an outdoor pool, sauna, and workout facility. Although it cost Jeremy more than the balance of RCI Points in his account, he was able to afford the resort by borrowing from his next year’s pool of points.

YEAR TWO: Begins with 37,020 RCI Points

The Aloha Paradise
To celebrate the completion of his first year with the company, Jeremy takes a week-long vacation on Maui, voted by his co-workers to be the best of the Hawaiian Islands. Here he stays at the Vacation Internationale Papakea, a Gold Crown resort located just ten minutes away from the historic town of Lahaina. The hub of the island's whaling industry from 1840 to 1865, today the town is a center for pineapple and sugarcane production. At the Papakea, Jeremy can choose from a wide variety of water sports at the beach adjacent to the resort. Two swimming pools, two tennis courts, a barbecue and picnic area, along with a beautiful tropical garden can all be found on site. Jeremy, an avid golfer, also enjoys nearby golfing was nearby, local cruises, deep-sea charters plus the many fine shops and restaurants.

Snowboarding and Gambling: A Winning Combination
After his first introduction to snow sports last year in Utah, Jeremy joined the ranks of snowboard enthusiasts at his company. Together they decide to trek to Tahoe Seasons Resort, a Resort of International Distinction located at the base of Heavenly Ski Resort's California Base Lodge--one of the nation's largest ski areas. A short distance from the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, the resort offers full-service hotel amenities, including a daily full breakfast buffet and "pub grub" in the afternoon. A year-round outdoor pool, hot tub, tennis and shuffleboard courts (seasonal), gift shop, and full-service rental/retail ski shop makes it easy to get geared up for the slopes. Another attractive service for Jeremy and his friends is the shuttle service for trying their luck at nearby casinos.

Choosing a 5-day vacation with an emphasis on mid-week days gave Jeremy and his co-workers a great value without the crowds of the weekend warriors.

YEAR THREE: Begins with 42,020 RCI Points

Let the Good Times Roll
Now in his third year with the company, Jeremy has become a project lead on a new computer game based around the excitement of a 24-hour casino. What better way to get into the gaming mindset than with a quick trip to Vegas? Jeremy chooses The Jockey Club, a Resort of International Distinction located on the glittering Las Vegas Strip directly across from the Aladdin Hotel. Here he is in the heart of the action and close to the natural beauty of the Southwest (which is a striking contract to Seattle’s late winter landscape).

At the resort, Jeremy enjoys the use of an outdoor pool, lighted tennis courts, workout equipment, and a whirlpool. Especially attractive to him is the nearby 18-hole golf course. For a change of pace he travels to nearby Lake Mead, takes a tour of Hoover Dam, and spends an afternoon hiking at Toiyabe National Forest.

Here they can sail, swim, fish, surf, or just relax on one of Aruba's most beautiful beaches.
